Ms. Hannah Elkins started with me at my home and has continues to work for Bluestar at the center since September of 2011. Hannah has a two-year associates degree in early childhood education from Keystone College. She is reliable and has a fun, easy going spirit that is enjoyable for interacting with children. Hannah opens the building most mornings and works with all our groups to keep them happy and busy. Hannah continues to add to our curriculum and daily lesson planning. Her longtime dedication to both me and the program, helps to make this a family friendly environment.
Ms. Jennifer Doty and Ms. Jessica Doty have worked at Bluestar for the past two years. We have been blessed with two exceptional teachers. They both have a Child Development Associate certificate and over 15 years of daycare experience. Jessica and Jennifer enjoy working with the potty-training toddlers between the ages of 1 and 3 years. They are constantly making the children laugh and have a special way of creating enthusiasm through play and learning. While Jennifer is group supervisor for the Star pod group and keeps the backroom activity area managed, Jessica is the front room manager and assistant director to Ms. Sandie. They both work four long days each week often here till closing, cleaning up and preparing for the next day. They are dedicated to the Bluestar Preschool program, children and parents.
